Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

Crickets

No one complaining tonight. Price won’t stay this high, but no one can say anything good?

When the stock was $20 I was told to sell. Good thing I didn’t listen

@OP Just traders pumping the stock on AI momentum and it's getting down right scary. When a stock can triple in a few days or a company can have a 5 trillion market cap while 20% of the worlds oil has been blocked for 2 months something most likely break. JMHO

OP is speaking too soon.

What happened in the stock market today in the tech industry that moved the entire stock market dip is rather telling. The fact that the ENTIRE tech industry was affected today, even your competitors and your suppliers, should be extremely concerning.

See you in the next quarterly call. You better sell your stock fast.

How am I acting tough or being privileged? Because I made a positive observation about the company? Suspect most of you have TDS also. Too funny

@bt sounds like some privileged frat boy, rich kid. Who got you the job at HPE? Who do you know? Must be nice to have life so easy for you

With great results comes great layoffs. Unfortunately it is time to buckle up

@OP - This is a community for people impacted by the HPE layoffs, many of whom are dealing with real stress on their mental health, families, and financial stability.

When someone asks “no one can say anything good?” in this space, it comes across as tone-deaf. Most people here just lost their jobs. Celebrating the stock price while people are hurting feels disconnected at best.

You sound like you’re in a much more secure position (director-level or VP level with RSUs?). That’s great for you, but it’s exactly why this kind of comment lands poorly here.
