Effective 1/1/2026, the management Concession Telephone Service will be frozen and only retirees currently participating will be allowed to receive concessions. In addition, HealthSmart Benefit Solutions will no longer administer the Concession Telephone Service (CTS) benefit for Verizon.
Your telephone concession payment will be administered through the Verizon Benefits Center (VBC) and any eligible reimbursement will be issued by The Principal Financial Group (Principal). To verify your eligibility, contact the VBC at 1-855-489-2367.

Verizon should give employees and retirees a discount for Frontier Internet.
Scheduled installation and quickly canceled when I found out that there is no discount for employees and retirees. I guess it’s better to stay on Optimum than pay more than your neighbor who has Verizon wireless service and frontier Internet.
Verizon please get with the program and give your retirees 50% off wireless. Many Verizon retirees have jumped ship to T-Mobile for a better discount and more included perks than Verizon.
thx for posting so i could look up .... there was a program to pay for retirees' home phones (not wireless) and that has been stopped! good! we should remove it from the current retirees too.

T mobile was much cheaper than VZ with their lousy 25% discount. and better coverage to boot

Plenty of MVNO options where service is as good or better and pricing is better than with Verizon worker discount
My brother, who worked for a different company, completely unrelated to Verizon, gets a better discount in his Verizon wireless service than we do as employees, so whatever
You could disconnect your line and just use your work phone for your personal. I know managers who have done that
