Jamie will soon be our new boss after the acquisition. Will he be any better?

Anyone new will be just as good as the old - just like politicians from different (same) aisle
Charlie learned all his tricks from Jamie
This board sound like what Chase sounded like the first 10 years of Jamie (thelayoff didn't exist then, but those of us who worked there know).
Eventually what's left are people who can function in that kind of environment... those who can't cope exit themselves or are exited.
personnally it seems mgmt is driving the place into the ground and so this impression doesnt seem completely out of wack
Not sure how some of you don’t understand JPM and WFC cannot merge.
The Riegle-Neal Interstate Banking and Branching Efficiency Act of 1994 prohibits federal banking regulators from approving any interstate bank merger or acquisition if the resulting combined institution would control more than 10% of the total amount of deposits of insured depository institutions in the United States.
JPM already has 11.1% of deposits and WFC has 7.6%.
@d7 I worked at Chase for over a decade. Before Jamie the Culter was more family like. After him it became a cutthroat cancer of a culture. Just about everything that employees loved was gutted. Leadership under him created a Lord of the Flies atmosphere. It went from being a company I loved to one of the worst jobs I ever had.
A friend of mine applied for a Leadership job after I told him not to. I told him they wouldn't give him enough staff and expect you to make it work. Ran into him 6 months later and he said I was right. Quit already. TOXIC.
@b9 Not only is chase culture is toxic, but 90% of the FTE wouldn't make the "JPM cut". the only positive thing about their toxic culture is it actually brings results (stock price, new business, NO scandals, etc.)
Would love that. Atleast chase culture is not toxic.
I'd give this merger a chance to be honest. If I'm gonna go, then at least maybe a few managers would get the axe with me this way.
The crazy guy is convinced of this lol
What acquisition? There's no way the regulators would allow that merger.
Chase Fargo Bank
@OP Same as the old boss….
Is there reason for this post?
Jamie Dimon is the kind of blood-gargling psychopath that Charlie aspires to be. Working for him would be a nightmare
If you mean Jamie Dimon then you better hope not. 5 days in office right off the bat, high performance metrics, no whining. He makes Scharf look like Mr sensitive. lol
