Lol India.... Your funny... People in India are too expensive now. Just look no further than at health groups IT corporate help desk. They literally sent all the jobs to the Philippines, level one help desk, level 1.5 support help desk, desktop support IE second level support all to the Philippines. The legacy Optum Rx IT help desk still exist But give a time they will all be laid off and all the jobs will be sent to the Philippines guaranteed 100% because why not. The only IT support in the US will be for the executive leadership (els) And those at the Smart spot at The offices that are left. You can really tell how bad the high tea help desk su-ks in the Philippines when people will literally leave the seventh floor of their cube walk down to the smart spot, Wait for assistance instead of calling the help desk from the comfort of their desk. All your default customer service for your benefits goes the Philippines first. Most of your first second and third level IT supports gone to India or the Philippines right now because all the company cares about is saving money not about helping people the United States even though they are an American company.
I recently saw a study saying about how Optum was part of US IT healthcare Even though literally all of their level 1 level 2 in most their level three people are now offshore because the company wanted to save a few bucks. Not because the technicians were terrible not because they had issues with security. United health group in Optum have literally handed the keys of the kingdom for the IT stuff to a third world country where someone could pay someone 500 bucks and steal so much data.
Why do they call a reduction in force (rif) if there is no real reduction they just send the jobs offshore to another country?
