The bureaucracy is insane. You can't get anything done without jumping through fifteen pointless hoops. Pay is below average, which is insulting given what they put us through. Job security is a complete joke now. I'm spending most my free time applying to be able to get away.

Paying an invoice or even sending an external email is no longer a click of a button. We make everything much harder than it needs to be. While insisting everyone is in the office. We are constantly working against ourselves and wondering why improvement isn’t happening.
@a5 your probably a manager who spends all day on "calls" and the as "busy". While your teams work 10 hours just to keep up. And then you tell them you have to pick up the pace because you as a manager cant help you havent a clue how the work is done. Yes the managers in the lines of 5 managers on top of each other because none of you have a clue except how to stay red all day in teams and avoid everything at all costs.

@OP Rebadged here in Jan wish I was laid off instead. But they are right get your severance but keep looking for a job in mean time. The job market is tough in our area of work. I have been looking since February finally on my final interview on Wednesday hoping to land the job. It takes time nowadays a lot of competition since our field of work is more unemployed technology workers then there are open jobs. But you will land on your feet and be out of this insanity.
@op Don't leave wait for your severance you earned it. Then collect unemployment and take a mental health break enjoy the waking up to no more of this and find a job that you really want.
Agreed. The hoops and Red Tape are ridiculous. Way too much can’t get anything done.
Then why don’t you just find another better job?
Oh right, you can’t. Oh well, the losers whine. Incessant, never ending.
