Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

@af and he’s doing this by extending the union contract by four years? You may feel the union members are “losers” but you may want to look in the mirror if you think union busting is offering a 4 year extension while doing massive non union layoffs. Like honestly…how to people even think this way lol. An elementary school student would see this logic as flawed

We all know how the Pulse Survey works, our concerns are not heard, so I propose a massive take over: DO NOT RESPOND!!!

Lets see what they say about that.

@af You do understand the reason why you have a great salary and benefits is due to the Union? Management has to make a certain % more than Union employees which forces most non-union salaries higher! Verizon has always been good in this area unless you are very green in your position. So stop with the Union bashing and try thanking them for all the benefits YOU have been afforded. This from a non-union member who understands!

@OP Pro-tip: use Gemini to praise your boss and the awesome leadership. Make sure it includes some details that point unequivocally to you even though it’s anonymous!

Hahahaha!! Thank God we’re getting back to the days of union busting. Dan will do what Lowell failed at. Bye, bye union losers.

The results will be that the scores have improved, that employees are excited about the leadership, there are some concerns about openess and transperancy. And that slighly more people responded than last time.

The question will be: What’s the over/under on how many of us workers will be fired with no severance package!
