LinkedIn is on fire for employees leaving EM. It’s not the 5year employees but the ‘after 20years I’ve decided to make the move’ employees. People who are vested in the betterment of EM but have had enough of the constant beatings, low morale and drive to the bottom. Imperial have had more than 300 people resign / leave and now are operating at minimum safe staffing, Australia is on its a@se, people are leaving us here at campus and not being replaced. Until the headline hits the bottom line, EM won’t care but safety will be impacted.

Beatings will continue until morale improves or we have a catastrophic failure whether that be the next deep water horizon or Texas city. DWW will blame employees for the performance as he’s a narcissist; he probably thinks his $hit doesn’t stink too. Every good is DWW, and then the blame on others when the results are bad. People see through this and now that they will be sacrificed soon enough for the drive to the bottom so are leaving when they get the opportunity.
@be Cool. Stop whining then.
The ones I’ve seen recently were all from HC10 countries impacted by the business transformation late last year- Canada, Fawley, Australia, Singapore. It’s very sad to see the lost of experience but not unexpected. We were forced out and replaced by cheaper workforce. Good luck to the folks that remain and the new people that join. It’s no longer a company I recognize
You mean my $440k paycheck.
@OP Nope. They’ll stay and collect their $200k+ paychecks for doing almost nothing until someone pries them off their desks and drags them out.
They’ll come here and whine day and night, but they aren’t going anywhere.
It’s obvious what the company has planned for its workforce. No one wants to stay long enough to reach an age where adapting to a new corporate system becomes harder. So the moment a good opportunity appears, people take it. They don’t wait around to see what happens next.
More contractors and gaps everywhere. We’ve got a guy running our team that has no business running a team. We are in the middle of our PDS and you would think there is no such thing as a pds. I can’t wait till this is over.
Definitely seems to be a huge uptick in recent departures. Historically, if employees stayed >5 years, they would likely stay with the company long term. Recently there has been a huge Exxodus of employees with 10+ years and 20+ years of experience. Massive hollowing out of a lot of those doing the heavy lifting.
I guess the Senior Executives, Admin Assistants, and Bangalore will keep the company running? Good luck!
It’s not a matter of “if” I quit, it’s “when”. Weighing whether to stick it out and quiet quit til they run me off or just straight up resigning. This F’ed up pa cycle is the last straw.
Darren spoke about his intent for the assessment process is to create CEOs. He’s delusional about how 99% of the people consider work/job.
Moral will never improve.it will only get worse. Benefits will decline as profits dwindle.
The beatings will continue until moral improves.
@a6 based on Darren’s vibes. Nothing else. Burn it down, for the sake of the shareholders.
Target is 40000 max employees world wide so they re moving towards their gaol
