JLJ gone. No “thanks for your service”. Just appoint interim long timer and business as usual.
Good for 3M. He was very bad at his job.

Dont need to replace Jose Luis.
One headcount saved.
@20p his initial is JLJ. That is correct.
@OP his name is Jose Luis so get it right and be respectful if you want to be taken seriously. Also he was with 3M three years not two. Finally he delivered best-ever service and inventory despite certain leaders resisting every step. I don’t care why he left - he put together a global planning function as approved by the board and delivered results. The rest is petty noise.
JL left a big mess for stefan to handle. Entire planning is in deep Sh1t
seems like they have no intention to replace a vacancy from Jose departure?
I work in manufacturing plant indirect staff. And somehow I hope to be one of those to get the severance.
@kf at least they are closing labs like manuf plants. There are still many many middle level R&D managers and they have been hiring scientists in. This does not happen in other functions. But what is all this for???
@j6 Ha! Who told you they were spending in R&D? They sure aren't! Budgets are tighter than anything I have ever seen in nearly 40 yrs.
There is a vision - shrink, separate, sell. However the vision and their talk and spending don’t align. For eg . Spending so much in R&D when closing manuf plants. How will you scale-up?
The company is fundamentally on the wrong path. It is led by self interests and greed. The board is spineless with zero vision. There is zero chance we can turn this ship with the current COC group at the helm. Globalism is dead much like 3Ms soul. We are nearing our goal of reaching zero.
Why did Jose leave so suddenly and without any notice period? Was he asked to leave?
Why hang around when you are told to improve everything while firing people and don’t spend a wooden nickel
Jose only lasted 2 years+ with 3M
Wasn't the Management proud that OTIF broke 90% and near recent highs? Why still leave?
this company is a j0ke. high level COC leaving. SVPs changing. what is going on? no wonder stock price is moving in the wrong direction.
Stefan looks to be a stop-gap guy who will never leave 3M
