Are we all going back to the office 5 days a week? Does this mean remote work goes away forever?

Sr. Directors and above still get to be MIA for most of the year.
email came in from VA, @all please do read, not really sure how "enforcing" it is, but its coming
@d0 We are talking about the widespread end of Remote Pilot roles, not the 4-1 schedule
here we go again. Will you bring this up bi-weekly until it sticks? You're welcome to show up to office on fridays
Was told yesterday that we'll be going back to the office, but no details beyond that.
RTO will make people leave so they don't need to fire people, bring cheaper desperate resources to nike that will work hard under tight management that constantly monitors what time you are in the office and what time you leave.
@OP i opted into the remote pilot and was told I would never have to return to the office. Tbh I think remote work ruined my team and its never been as productive.. but now I am told that since I didnt move away, i have to wrok on campus everyday even tho every single other person on my team is in another city (if not time zone). This feels like a punshiment. I cant be effectice if a9 am.on campus but no one else is..wtf is the plan here!? Is the goal for me.to quit!? I hat to say it but I love this company and this makes me want to scream. So poorly thought through. "Maybe rto without any thought or planning will fix our sh1t!?"
No. Lots of GT still remote.
Not even VPs know right now. The most we know is that logistical arrangements are being made to assign local remotes to offices.
Does anyone know?
