Anyone have any updates on the possibility of full site closure at the Cary office?
I'm exhausted of the unknown outcome of this site for the past year.

Cary had been on the list until a few weeks ago (the list was originally 30 offices, cut down to 15). My understanding is it’s no longer on that list. Same thing with Ashburn but that’s because they have a lot of legal issues with visas there
I’ve heard we aren’t closing, I’ve heard we are closing. Regardless, this site underutilized….
@ee No way to confirm at this time. Rumors are spreading like wildfire. I've heard a million possible outcomes. We will have to wait for the overlords to decide our fate.
@b1 sure you can. By the time you get onboarded it will be 6 months… May 20… most hiring processes take that long nowadays!

Cary hub posted a multi-month project on every floor to replace the UPS batteries that go to the backup generator so it looks like the company is still investing in the property. Grounds could really use some work though. No mulch has been put down in years. Tree roots poking out if dirt everywhere. Grass is a mess full of weeds. Worst looking property on a road that prides itself in beautiful landscaping. A ceo visit one day would really help get it shaped up.

saw a big shipment of lidded storage boxes ,you know the ones you assemble, being dropped off .
As one the ones RIFD in November got 2 recruiters calling about contract jobs for Verizon at the Cary office.....doesn't sound like they are closing to me. Can't do it cuz not 6 months left ....

Maybe not this week but it is definitely going to close. Look around next time you are there, it’s been 90% empty since Covid.
@OP Sorry to tell you but Cary is not closing. It’s not on the final list.
@OP I was told last week by my AD Cary is not on the list to be closed.
