Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

Too much talking

We spend a lot of time discussing what needs to be done. Then we discuss it again. And again. Meanwhile, the actual work barely moves. When did we turn into a company where every single thing has to be discussed into oblivion before anything can be done?

The usual Pareto principle at Q runs more like 10/90, i,e, 10% doing all the job while the rest running from meeting to meeting to raise voice and get noticed as "smart and active". Toxic corporate culture where corporate players advance their careers while keeping the very few very hard working slaves who are anchored by their mortgages in San Diego and/or H1B to green card "sponsorship".

Salty are we? Do you not like Asians? Why are you even in engineering. It's dominated by Asians and they do all the work.

@OP Since we got the asian muppets to lead projects. They cannot take any decision if their lives depended on it

Since I couldn't care less about productivity for Qualcomm, this suits me just fine. The more waste, the better!
