Even new hires are already questioning how stable things are and whether they made a mistake coming here. When it’s that obvious that early on, it pretty much says it all.

@OP It’s a GenZ thing. They all have ADHD and scare easily.
EM is a dumpster fire, but so is the rest of O&G. Do the minimum, collect the check, go home. Works for me.
Show me any generation that hasn’t questioned their EM job decision in their early years. This place isn’t for everyone. The difference is job hopping has now been normalized so recent hires have options where a few decades ago you just had to tough it out for the sake of your own family. So many complaints on this board about the company exercising its optionality but no consideration of the improved optionality for those who find that EM is not for them.
