Thread regarding Fidelity National Information Services Inc. layoffs

I feel sick to my stomach

I don't want to move to Cognizant. I'll quit. Which I know is playing right into their hand, but so be it.

@OP no doubt many are feeling the same today. Elsewhere, the EAP program was mentioned with six therapy sessions paid for. However, if anyone is feeling hopeless about options, you are not alone. Connect with your colleagues for support. Repeating for US employees, if you are feeling lost and in a self harm situation, please call 988. Let someone know that you need help. A resource that might help is the reasonstostay.co.uk. This website contains random letters from strangers about why staying is better. It was created by a man whose brother died by su----e. He created the website for support. Sending out kind thoughts for everyone impacted today.

The culture is terrible at FIS, has been for several years. When one door closes, another door opens. See it as an opportunity and you will never look back.

@OP sorry to hear it, did they offer any option if you don't want to move?

Cognizant has a bench policy, if one is not on any project for like 45 days, will be let go. So transferring is really just a slow ki-ling process, so they can avoid paying someone serv pkg. It's a very sad practice.
