What does everyone think about it? It feels like a lot of things are starting to head in that direction.

Qlik is just another BI software that is replacing Tableau. It doesn't have all the functionality of Tableau but it beats dealing with Looker.
I am not in Biz Analytics in any capacity so the only thing I use Qlik for is pulling my own training reports to see if I’ve hit goal for the year.
@OP Qlik is just a competitor to tableau which a lot of the Verizon engineering teams use already. Qlik will be able to create pretty dashboards so that "leaders" can be told what's important with pretty colors and charts and graphs. They still wont know what the data means or how to turn that info into improvements for service, but they will have another dashboard to use as ammo for PA&D.
Qlik is nice, but are the executives that claim they want digital first able to select a drop-down in qlik yet? Or do they still want 200 page decks from the finance/coe/fpas/data&analytics overlapping armies of management to build out? Automation = duplication and it energizes us!
