Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Iselin

April 1! You ready for the Hunger Games? 4 days in office 8 hours a day. Those microwaves are going to be cranking all day long. Seats will be hard to come by and those Focus rooms will be filled to the brim with all the “look how important I am” workers.

The Keyboard and mouse at each station will be filled with germs and who knows what other funky bits. And those bathrooms, oh those bathrooms will ripe with unbelievable smells.

On the other hand, the collaboration that will take place will be incredibly helpful to furthering the foundation of Tech and Risk across all teams. For once WF got it right. Only way to make it better would be to have everyone come in 5 days a week. That’s just a pipe dream at this point, I guess. But a dreamer can dream

@dj settle down - not everyone is trying to avoid their family or taking a good hard look at themselves in the mirror.

Chainsaw Charlie is going to cut 60,000 jobs in 2026 so he can "LOOK LIKE" JP
Morgan Chase and BofA.
This should help him reach his number!!!

Boo hoo. Welcome to the work reality of the other 98% of the population, only they have to suffer the indignity of coming to work 5 days a week. Oh the humanity.

@ap did all the generations before use AI? Because in that area we are being told to adapt or die. So you can’t really use the whole generations before speech.

@OP Every employee signed a contract with the company. If you don't like the company policy, you have the right to resign. It's as simple as that.
How do you think people worked generations and generations ago? They went to work 5 days a week, and sometimes during the weekends as well. Just ask your parents or grandparents. They weren't lazy. They did whatever it took to put food on the table and roof over their families heads. There were no social media clicks making lazy GenZ money in those days. People actually worked and used their brains. I sometimes wonder what would happen to GenZ if companies like Google, Meta, etc. didn't pay for clicks. What would GenZ do?
