No more rigged best of belk awards for managers favorites?

If they don't announce this in your store today, anyone can view their own discount on Belk.com this evening at 12am midnight on 4/1 to see if their employee discount changed from 20% to 30%.
best of belk is oddly mostly support associates and top credit producers. sales does not play a factor in it. very odd.

@126 it has not been to discontinued. They should be announcing them within the next couple of weeks.
Best of belk was a big sham.
@126-when a store manager or RVP has the ability to manipulate the awards based only on favoritism, that's a lawsuit waiting to happen.
Has the “Best of Belk” program actually been discontinued, or is this just speculation?
I hope it’s not true. That’s been one of the last real incentives left. If it is changing, hopefully they at least rework it into something clearer — call it something else if they want — but base it on actual, measurable criteria.
We still had drop box for nominations. Encouraged to nominate peers.
It surely did. Rumor has it that Belk was advised it could possibly be construed as discriminatory. The awards were arbitrary, and the qualifications for the awards were unclear, it was certainly not based on job performance or metrics.
