12 months no more copper, 12 months after that backend support for Quantum expires, no more in house fiber splicing & the continuous push to non union employees
Kate made the decision to pull out the rug under the technicians. Instead of waiting until 2029. The year all communication companies planning to shutdown the legacy copper services. She is planning the same time frame with the rest of the communication companies to ki-l the copper service long before 2029. Starlink cellular service is going live in 2027.
I could definitely see something like this happening. She's been at company for almost 4 years. If they don't sell, I would guess she steps down within 6 mos.
