"Headcount reduction was the real reason for RTO at AT&T. They wanted to reduce headcount without the costs of severance."
Just like Stankey stated in June 2024.
"RTO and actually work."
Typical boot li---r . . . all the evidence shows your wrong but keep spewing the corporate vomit.
"Boo hoo...Get over it or quit."
I have. My last day is coming up. FO!
Backfire how? Yes we are losing some experience and knowledge but I guess that depends on what numbers you are looking at. Say we lose 8-10000 people off the payroll that consume 150,000 each in expenses that is real money. Yes there are expenses associated with that but do you believe the C-suite really care that some can’t find help to answer a question?
@gf don’t worry. The new Plano office has golf tennis and pickleball. You will get plenty of time to work on your game at the office soon.
The main reason RTO was implemented was to ki-l my golf game.
I don't believe for a second that the reason RTO was implemented at AT&T was to increase collaboration and productivity, the explicitly stated reasons for RTO. The study shows "return-to-office announcements at major firms shifted tenure and seniority downward, consistent with a higher-skilled talent outflow". Headcount reduction was the real reason for RTO at AT&T. They wanted to reduce headcount without the costs of severance.
@ee - agreed.
When we have sh1th3ads as leaders and many more as followers, this is what we get. An oblivious state of false confidence.
Amazing how we no longer lead with common sense while “the cult” just defends stupidity. Not just at AT&T but everywhere. What an effing disaster we’ve got on our hands now.
Can’t make this sh1t up!!
@bm imagine being so mentally handicapped that you think you must RTO to “actually work” in 2026
Well 100% of managers could have told them this. Unbelievable that the f00ls in the C-suite could not work this out on their own. Frankly, it is time for shareholder lawsuits to force the closure of all this unnecessary office space. Too bad none of us still own shares, lol.
Pay no attention to our resident CWA trolls. There are a few that are bu+thurt their insane benefits and other contract goodies cost them the ability to work remote.
RTO and actually work.
@aw and most of them exist at the top. The very same people you praise and put on a pedestal.
At&T doesn’t expect that there are so many losers working in this company
By gawd, could you be any more illiterate?
Perhaps invest less time bootlicking and invest it in remedial 2nd grade language and grammar skills. Then, it may take a few minutes to expose you as a fool instead of immediately.
@OP go back to office lazy , ill just werk in my underware lucky to have a job rodents
Yup.
And you are getting prepped to post your research to the contrary? Can't wait.
"Nope" is about as worthless as the boots you habitually lick.
Nope.
