Relatively new to State Farm and now having second thoughts. Seems like there are a lot of concerns about future. Did I make a mistake? I am pretty sure I can find another job quickly. DFW is booming.

I would have said leave but that was before the answer was found. Turns out we just need more executives reporting to executives and with executives reporting to each other. Future is bright now. I hope rumors are true and they are hiring even more. Soon we will have 36 executives with small amount of direct reports with FLL expected to have 30+. Lots of bright minds tackling this !
If you have the opportunity you should leave. Particularly since we will be in the office more. Most of us dont have that luxury due to location or non competitive skills.
@OP you are new to SF and the first thing you do is go onto a site for layoffs and terminated employees can you spell TROLL
Any job at State Farm is a bad decision. This company has no future. They have turned it into "Like a Good Neighbor.... HOOD". Once the neighbor hood starts going down things don't get better. It's a cancer that slowly ki-ls the patient!
