Is it common to have to re-interview for your current position if there is a buyout? If it's a bigger company like Amazon that acquire, can I ask for a raise right away? I figure they might be afraid of a mass Exodus and would like to pay extra to keep experienced workers?

went to this twice, one time i interviewed - they fired all and then re-hired most of us, the contracts changed...
the other time it was like @a5 noted. i think 'no interview' is more common.
@OP no , in my past experience when company is sold or parts of the business the headcount is sold as part of the deal with no changes to contract, so employees would transfer to new contract with exact same benefits /comp and tenure which lasts for 2 years, after that you are either let go or they will keep u on
