Just learned some director in R&D don’t even have a BS degree, is this the new PepsiCo Way?

@c3 normally I would totally agree with you, but R&D is mostly scientists. They actually use what they learn in school (I mean, if they are competent)
@c3 I can agree a lot with this. Now, the ones promoted without a degree tend to have little business experience.
@OP Is it a not-100% white person and female, with limited knowledge? This is what happens in our department.
You should report a speak up
No, they don’t need a degree to su-k.
How do they function without a degree OMG! Pepsi was at its greatest when almost all managers didn’t have a degree. They worked their way up learning the business. They could actually do the job of the people they were managing. Instead we hire degrees and throw them into management with no clue and that’s the way they manage. Now the people that don’t know what they’re doing are teaching the new recruits. What a mess
@OP The irony of questioning a BS degree with a sentence that didn’t graduate middle school English.
It's called Faster, we are falling Faster!
You don't need a BS degree when you can expertly BS.
