Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

Farewell Coral Springs

Everyone in CGL heard Adam accidentally say Fiserv is moving out of Coral Springs. He tried to back track and say no site decision has been made but you can't un-hear facts.

@bf You mentioned security, is that ahole wannabe stormtrooper Kev still 'site manager' there? He is a complete facist goon, thinks he is CEO of Fiserv Florida. Useless preek.

I heard BRIC as they are giving huge tax breaks to tech companies.

Heard it’s a done deal. Hope we can leave the dregs of society behind. It looks like IT will be in one building and credit risk in another with customer service. Everyone wfh in FL will be called back to the new office

Not new, but might as well be totally refurbished. Better than BH with more stuff and a garage. Let’s just pray we can get out of this dump. A better place might help motivation and a brief thought that Fiserv cares. But no matter what it’s about the tax credits

@cy this would be incredible. A brand new building in Boca? Prob worth the drive to work in a real office with all the amenities.

Any new building will be better than what we have in coral. The fact that a brand new place is being considered for us is pretty nice. It’s about time. We need a real office that looks like it’s the office of a fintech.

@kf CGL are the folks who keep your a-s out of trouble from a legal and regulatory standpoint. Just be lucky they're there. You know, when the business has brilliant ideas like giving data away, doing business in Iran, or trying to skirt local laws.

Takis kind of said it without saying it when he did his town hall in Coral

@OP Yes. Adam backtracked a little, but I'm quite certain that it's the typical CGL crones in Hagerstown fanning the flames. What a miserable bunch of people...

@cy I hate Boca but it's better than Miami or West Palm commuting wise.

I hope so. These buildings are horrible. The rumor going around is that IT is moving to Boca Raton for huge tax credits in an innovation center that used to belong to IBM

If they come in and say that they are "committed to the Sioux Falls location" then they will be back in three weeks to announce the site's closure. I think they plan the first meeting so the second meeting is even more traumatic to the employees. (Look for the security in suits waiting outside during the second meeting.)
