s it normal to feel overwhelmed at Verizon?. Or is just because we are heritage tracfone and the are doing it on purpose for us to quit?
Plus the new office will make worst commute due the traffic in Miami next to the airport.
Is it just me or the New Jersey ppl don’t feel this overwhelmed with the amount of Requests while you doing your daily job?
@OP The good news is that Verizon management only cares about the quantity of work you’re doing not the quality so feel free to half-a-s it but in large quantities but make sure your work aligns with the higher up’s preconceptions even if they’re factually wrong. And when they change their preconceptions, change with them. In other words be a yes person.
Do this and you’ll soon be promoted.
I don't think the new location was selected with local employees in mind: Rather, the close proximity to the airport makes it convenient for out of town execs jetting in / out for meetings.
@OP In my experience that’s par for the course at Verizon.
Most Verizon managers believe that running people ragged equals productivity and demonstrates what great managers they are. They confuse activity with achievement.

@OP sadly this is the new normal...
This current economy and jobs market is a painstaking new modern era. This is no longer a dreamer's economy but it's a constant reminder thus having to do more with less or else???
