So is it true what I am hearing that if some people are giving there notice they are trying to convince them to stay , i hope that is not true you really can’t don’t that and i hope these people don’t listen. do what is best for you. think will this place will be in a year

@OP not likely. There is no money to do that in Hudson at least. Hudson is on its last breath. It is time to make a plan. There are no more layoffs at this point. The next step is shut down and that WILL happen when CZ is fully functional and capable of processing the raw material. EV is falling. The manufacturers of the other suitable uses for our product don't care if it's made in the US or overseas. Hudson is done. EFK should be on alert. It sounds like you're where Hudson was 18 months ago.
If you're not familiar with the area, EFK has eMagin in the same corporate park, IBM is a half hour away... Anyone who wants to leave has gone there, or even further north to GlobalFoundries. I haven't heard of anyone even being asked to stay. Ali has chased out and laid off a lot of our best.
In Hudson, Management can't afford to do that. They barely have enough technicians as is to run the production floor and anyone leaving now is a huge blow. Everyone I've talked too is actively looking for another job as we all can see that there is no future here. We are already starting to lose people. One or two more leaving and it's pretty much over. The management team will have to come downstairs and run the floor themselves which I would pay good money to see.
Not sure about your location but in efk, if you are not mgmt as soon as you give notice, they tell you to pack up and leave. They consider you a hostile enemy at this point.
