Just overheard 2 HR people talking that layoffs are next week.

Our HR department SU-KS!!! I have never worked with such incompetent, unprofessional people in my life. I hope they get wiped out!!! Useless.
I also heard from the orientation folks that they don't even need to do orientation anymore because there's like no one getting hired. Good luck to anyone who thought they were getting a new job here I guess
Cool... the "professional" HR department is having open conversations about layoffs where any random person can hear....good on them....
Yes. From what I overheard HR layoffs are on Monday and Tuesday. All else on Thursday.
No layoffs but re-org at support center. All are rumors to make people look for job.
@at Doesn't matter how long you stay in the office, if that's what you mean...? They don't care how hard you try - you're just a name and a salary figure on a spreadsheet. They are going to get rid of as many people as possible to save money for themselves. That's what PE firms do. You have no control over the outcome at all. Don't ki-l yourself trying to shine now, your fate will be the same no matter what.
I will start staying little longer from tomorrow. Don’t want the layoff.

Hearing chatter that all orgs are potentially affected next week. Like HR and IT? Is anyone hearing the same?
@OP I mean everyone's talking about that - I don't think HR has any other info than anyone else rn. Even the field knows it's happening next week.
