Is it true that construction is the next big hit coming? Heard it was???? Anyone have any news or rumors?

Working in the repair NOC never stopped the layoffs. Only meant higher ticket queues while babysitting the offshore techs that for worse and worse. Nothing should come as a surprise. Just smiles and lies.
All the local ops managers went to construction, then they were "too busy" to get things done and hired out to contracting companies. Linesman schools would chase out the WS recruiters as they weren't offering competitive pay/
Every job is vulnerable no matter how much its needed or means to the company. If they are paying someone in construction X amount they could just rehire for less.
There is always room to shed a few
Chiefs in any department around this company. Too many high paid chiefs and too few warriors has always been a problem.
There might be lots of work for them, but that doesn't mean that someone on high doesn't think "they could do it with less".
@OP yeah that’s a bad rumor. There’s so many new builds going on. They will need every possible body and just keep shifting them from State to State. Lots of work for that group.
