Next round of exit packages coming soon.

They will be coming out very soon. AI is accelerating at a rapid pace. Remote days are numbered. Time to bring them all home.

The kind of person who can't be replaced by AI won't be returning to the office anytime soon

I wish they'd offer it across the company to all employees over 55.

So what they are doing is instead of forced reassignments, they will offer the older people an exit package to basically pay them for working while they retire officially. Goal with the exit packages is to open room up for younger people in lower roles, as well as provide a prod to older people past retirement age but hanging around.

I know, not the rage bait the three people who live on this site and post across all the company forums want to hear.

This is a far better set up than what they did in the past, which is randomly reassign people to a new role, take it or leave it.

Also ive heard from a few managers, there are a lot of people past retirement that just wont seem to leave for any reason, this would be that motive

SF will stick with agent's until they close the doors. Agents will take the company down the drain and it will continue its slow and steady decline. The DEI and 2040 workforce...future does not look bright!

@dp once again not happening.

Company is in the middle of a 5+ year decoupling effort that will facilitate having even more agent offices.

Agents aren't going anywhere. May see high performers take on extra offices vs bringing in new ones, but fundamentally the business model is not changing at SF. Agent driven sales/service will continue indefinitely

LOL! Market differentiator....but not in a good way. 80% of agents haven't had a net policy gain in over a decade. They make up almost 35% of our expense ratio and have been the main drivers to getting SF to the number #2 spot. They have been stealing the company blind for decades with all the field discounting, CRI manipulations, claims coaching and sticking their noses in everywhere they do not belong. Agents have 3-5 years left at best. There are some good ones out there but few and far between. Just too expensive. Their time is done.

2027 updates. Legacy PTO will be eliminated. Those who have it will get paid for unaided days. Pension returns for new hires. Underwriting continues to downsize due to automation. The pay structure in claims will improve to help with retention.

@a8 not happening. Literally the only market differentiator the company has.
