@OP this seems rather selfish. 60 is not an unrealistic retirement age.
I worked for the railroad for almost 12 years. At that time my position was cut while people who started at a much younger age who have never had a real job besides the railroad got to stay.
You don’t see me bi--hing about it. I lost my job through no fault of my own. And here you are, bi--hing that you’ve spent “too much time” working. If my math is right, you started in your early twenties. That means you’ve been making a damned good wage starting at a young age. You can’t have your cake and eat it too.
Typical “young old head”, entitled and always wanting more.
