@OP Actually, LP is making a comeback.
But CDs are probably going to stay out.
@ee This was the reason why i left Intel last year. I could tell that LP's org is riddle with politics, i had zero confidence in her leadership after i saw how gfx team was ran. I am amazed the gfx driver is able to be built and shipped with what i saw going into the source.

This is a joke. Qualcomm has no competitive client ot data center GPU and their software is a pile of hot mess. Whoever thinks it is a good hire is delusional, you'd get the same outcome getting a VP from a pasta factory.
Another high-level hire to do absolutely nothing and be gone in 4 years
