I was laid off in November and still haven't received severance. It is difficult to get ahold of anyone in HR. Anyone else experiencing this?

Citi HR’s "Administrative" Failure is Ruining Lives
Is anyone else from the Nov 28th Transformation layoffs still waiting on severance paperwork? It’s been over six weeks since our notice period ended, and HR is refusing to give a timeline, claiming the legal process just "takes time."
"Administratively possible" isn't a valid excuse when people are struggling to cover expenses and mortgages. The lack of empathy and organization from Citi HR is staggering. How can a global bank be this incompetent with basic payroll and legal documentation?
I was notified in July and just got my severance at beginning of January
@OP You won't get the separation documentation until after your notice period ends, and even then it likely won't be immediate. There's no guarantee of a specific date for when the separation documents will be sent to you; that said, once you agree to and sign the documents, Citi waits until after the rescind period (time given to you to change your mind about accepting the separation agreement terms), before processing your pay.
Unfortunately, you will have to wait.
You wouldn’t get the Severence until after the WARN payout period ( 30/60/90 days depending on state).
