it's 3% in the US and 1% in several other countries. Does anyone know about the UK?

Structure has floated between 2 and 3.5% for many years, except for little to no structure during Covid and a double structure the following year of high inflation.

Past several years it has been noticeably below inflation, while pre Covid years better matched inflation.

Inflation rate is 2.7% in the US as of November 2025. That makes 2% a plausible number. We'll certainly see something below inflation when the official number comes out. As MW's email said, pay will be tied more closely with differentiated performance. That means scraps for everyone without management's patronage.

In case you haven’t noticed. Chevron is trying to get rid of US personnel. Why would they improve compensation?
