Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Why do I constantly feel like they want to get rid of all of us?

What is the point of putting so much pressure on us with unrealistic expectations, passive-aggressive management, cultivated toxicity, and highly flexible performance grading unless they are trying to force us out? It seems like far too much effort just to keep us “in line.” If attrition is the goal, why not just move forward with it instead of making the workplace miserable?

3,500 employees came off the books in the last two weeks. You feel like they want us gone because they do.

It is because we are not leaving fast enough. Charlie doesn't want to pay us severance so they are making us hate going to work everyday so we quit. I'm not going anywhere, if they want me out, they gotta pay me.

@a5 You missed a dribble of CS money shot at the corner of your mouth. May want to wipe that off.

Nobody needs banks anymore. All done online. Empty parking lots and only emptier ones can be found at used adult toy stores and they are growing

Because they want voluntary attrition which means they don't need to pay severance.

Because they do! but no company want the backlash of offshoring so many US Jobs, while servicing majority US Clients. Have to keep that "America Jobs First" illusion going especially during an election. We have no branches in India or the Philippines.
