Block schedule

The company needs to leave block schedules for long term associates. We have earned it with all the mess we have done over the years. Long term associates are the back bone and have earned the company a lot of money. Leave it a line we have a life out side of work

The biggest complaint I hear about block schedules is they need to rotate the weekends for all associates.

Block Schedule was a God Send for long term ascociates... Open open close open close type schedules that shuffled shifts and days off were horrible for the life of asscociates enduring them. Block chain came after many years of we-ponized schedules. Managers often scheduled people in a way as to lash out at individuals. They tried the same with block shedules too. I was the longest term associate at my club. I was called in and given first dibs of schedules. I was told NO ONE gets saturday and sunday off. HHmmmm when the dust settled two people did and bragged about. One said she got it off for Church. She had been there a lot less time than me and they all knew Church was very important to me. Pure favoritism was the real thing going on. Blocking me from going to church was their way of hurting me. Block scheduling at least kept them from changing my schedule all wi---e nillie.

@OP this company does not view long term associates as an asset. they're a strain on payroll and benefits.
