The "it's not all bad" folks seem to be quick to condemn all the negativity, but when you ask to share what's so great about Intel right now, it gets very, very quiet. They should just keep their mouths shut about those of us complaining if they can't come up with any examples.

The positivity folks I'm around are just trying to make a sh-t sandwich not make therm puke.
Sometimes it's just about survival, not just financial but mentally as well.
Many are absolutely positive. Chiefs are knocked out of the playoffs. Micah Parson tore his acl. What a great time for Intel!!

it's not all bad, there is a solid argument to be had that we cannot produce enough electricity to actually train a general super intelligence on any reasonable timeline. Of course, those arguments neglect the rapid progress being made in organoid developmemt. Perhaps because those systems are not as public as what OpenAI has done. Why let the cat out of the bag?
