Ford batteries does not sustain more than 1 year, after that range of the battery is reduced badly. I bought mustang mach e. Car is good, features all are nice but now battery range went down also, charging time is unbelievably long. Why this happening ? I failed to understand . Why can't they improve the quality in existing cars and more reliability with reduced cost

Customers know it. I travel across different states -Ford EVs is plague to avoid in other states.
@OP did the range go down just because it's cold out though? that is a known thing. in your heated garage, it will show so and so range, but once out in the 18 degF today... bye bye range. maybe they have fixed this so it uses google weather to check outside temp, i dont know.

You could do that, but a better plan would be to hold off until the next-gen Model e BEV products are out. They will be next level with technology and features. I know as I work in Model e.
@a7 if your range is half the original you should be talking to a dealer to see if there are issues, this forum won’t help you any
There aren’t really any documented cases of that kind of degradation that fast so either something is wrong with your specific car or your math is off
I work in ford. When I say range is bad does not mean losing 10 to 15 percent. Range reduced to half the original in summer itself. In winter it is horrible and I am selling the car for trade in and taking honda hybrid.
@OP if your range is bad right now during the winter it’s because heating the cabin uses up a decent chunk of charge
