My team was pretty small to begin with … my best guesstimate is that roughly 25 to 50 percent got laid off. Gutted!

You don't always necessarily immediately know who else got laid off from your immediate team. When I went thru a corporate layoff elsewhere I just moved forward with my job search. Later I'd hear some of the names, but that wasn't my focus as I had my eyes squarely on my future role.
I took a job in a new group that was brainchild of a VP around 20 months ago. We built the entire thing from the ground up and made it successful. They canned us and moved it overseas and now we are supposed to help migrate it to the outsourcer. We were used for our knowledge and then kicked to the curb. Unbelievable.

My team was small and only one person survived (not me). It was brutal.
20% but then we're only a team of 5.
@ag about 20 from my team were let go
@af about 20 people
I chopped DEI hires. Thank you, Arvind Basra
We lost 20%. 4 people out of 20.
@OP So if you had 4 people in your small team, that means only you or you and another person got laidoff.
@a2 How many people does that amount to?
20% of my Sr Director Reports was what I heard, & 17% of my immediate teammates
