Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

The worst company I have ever worked for….

Pay for performance, not even close. The worst management I have ever seen. The worst methods and procedures I’ve ever seen. Horrible, horrible management from top to bottom.

I was well endowed to be paid only in ca$h, not in stocks.

But 60 for 6 for the lot of you

@t6 isn’t this the same for all sales driven organizations?..

@qx If the shareholders knew how the so called sales team lines their pockets off other people’s work, taking away additional profit from the bottom line, i am positive there would be a lot of calls made to Lyons and his team. Those people are laughing all the way to the bank while the actual people bringing in the revenue, are quitting. Sad situation but it continues daily.

@ny thank you for the response, sir, for telling me your story. You might call me crazy, but I’m actually maximizing my investment in FISV. It’s not just Mike, do you know Takis by any chance? He’s a beast, leading a 7 people team building it into 25,000 with $20bil annual revenue at JPM payment, almost like a god in the payment space. Dhyvia worked at Stripe from 2020-2023. I’m too junior but I do know a thing or two about these people and I think they play to win.
For the ones you say don’t care about employees, would you mind sharing a bit? The bad ones seem to be gone, Kosuda, LaClair, and soon Gibbons?
We both have a lot at stake here so definitely would love to compare notes with you :)
Happy holidays.

@nk i had 24% of my 401 in Fiserv stock. It had always done well in the past, in hindsight I should have moved my money out of the Fiserv fund. Didn’t realize all the Frank smoke and mirrors shenanigans going on behind the scenes. Had hoped for a happy ending. I think it will be a few years to recover but only if Mike Lyons works hard on new leadership. Existing leaders don’t actually care about the employees.

@n6 can you please share more? Why was 401K down 30%+? Did everyone put most of that money in the stock? I have high hopes for the new leadership and new board members. Do you think it’s possible for them to save the ship? I’m still too young to retire…

@OP The original Fiserv was a great place to work. Great stock benefits, 401K did well. Pay has never been great but stock and 401 doing well helped with total compensation package. Everything tanked when Frank, with board approval, started micromanaging and destroying employee morale. Many of us have now lost a third of our 401 while Frank and board are continuing on with their merry lives. We can only hope and pray the new leadership can turn this ship around. For me, it’s too late. I finally admitted defeat with trying to get leadership help. I opted for retirement and have no regrets.

Remind me about who sold the company to the “First Data goons?” Oh, I know. It was JY. Why don’t you pay him a visit out in Malibu and ask him why he did.

Fiserv was a decent company to work for. Until the First Data Goons took over to create this $hitshow. This culture of ineptitude is the result of First Data mo--ns.

You have to wait a bit. There is a lot to fix, before it can get better. The previous regime did a truly horrible job.
