I went in for an oil change at a Quick Lane last week and received an AI text from "Will" at the front desk. I was offered $11,500 for my 2020 Edge with 55K miles; go pound sand. Ford doesnt have a vehicle in their offering I would buy.
No way am I selling it so Ford can resell it on Amazon.

@OP Tell them to pound sand
@webmaster
For the specific timestamps use local standard timezone based on user and also relative time ago
Either remove the specific timestamp that requires work all together or just drop the Unix timestamp so it’s easier to manually convert instead of the unproductive timestamp you currently render man. All love thanks boss
@1m0 facts
Sell it and buy Toyota from 2000s , will last you 20+ years when odometer resets back to 000000000 for another reset.
Honda dealer is constantly trying to buy my 2016 CRV. I'm driving it until the wheels fall off, and I will not be buying a Ford when that happens.
@pq old make fusion = great; new edge = great; new fusion = garbage; old edge = mostly garbage
Sell them the Edge. Let them sit on a cruddy vehicle. Take the money and get a Toyota or Honda.
Edge & Fusion, great vehicles, same platform? Just watch out for the "inner water pump" on some Edge engines. Maybe some hi end Fusion engines? They are great vehicles so that is why they were gotten rid of. Cant give credit to the prior guys at all.
Every time I took my 2023 Accord hybrid or 2024 CRV in for maintenance, I got the pitch from sales. They never low balled me, they just wanted my very low mileage, very clean lease cars for their used lot. I have been able to get new lease for roughly the same payment. Last spring, Honda bought out the last year on my Accord lease. Cost me nothing.
@OP, Who cares?!
@hm chances are the offer is fictitious
Old man yells at clouds. Seriously, someone offered you $$$ for you vehicle, if you didn’t like the offer, just move on, no need to jump and scream about it.
This is a good barometer of the customer's "pulse" towards Ford's quality, pricing and feature offerings. For example: the Edge SEL trim level was available with leather seats. As of 2020, the offering is pleather without a cost reduction. A 48K vehicle with plastic seats? I don't so.
In the 10 years leading up to my retirement in 2022, I provided 14 A-Plan PINs and 8 X-Plan PINs. Since retiring I have provided two A-Plan and zero X-Plan. I proactively offer purchase assistance but there does not seem to be interest in purchasing Ford vehicles.
$11500! So they can turn around and call it for $22000.
Ford is a grift shop.
@a2
The H1B's have monopolized the 2001 Camry market.
I’ve never heard of”Ford” and “solid” in the same sentence 😬. Wait until the head gasket fails and you’re using as much coolant as gas.
Well, there you have it, you now have in your hands some honest advice from rea Ford professionals - it appears to be a consensus, take the deal and buy a Toyota.
@OP, You should sell it and buy a Toyota.
There is a lawsuit on the Ford Edge.
Wait a minute, someone actually puts up with a dealer for oil changes? Wow.
@OP+1ka9q7a03 2020 Edge w/ 55k miles is gold, man. one of the most solid and safe vehicles ford has ever made. it's a keeper!
Take it and pony up the extra cash for a 2001 Camry. You will be happy you did.
