if we are the (un)fortunate, and our last day is 12/20 or 1/20 or 2/20, do we still get paid during this time? and then we get our package after? will everything be in tack as if we are still FTE?

You will be paid from your notification date to your termination date. Unless required by law, most people will be off the books by 12/20/25 which is the end of the payroll year. Access to the systems is dependent upon your job. Some people may be required to continue working to document and/or cross train (your severance depends on you doing this), others will be told they no longer need to report and can begin their job search. Take advantage of the career counseling offered to you as part of your severance. If nothing else, they do a great job of helping you fine tune your resume. It can take up to 45 days to get your severance check.
The last pay period of the year is 12/19…they want the employees off payroll by the end of the year
@a7+1k9zbba9e depends on your manager. But you DO have to report the vacay days used as it will still be deducted from your final vacation payout if you have any left.
@ae NJ laws says 60 day notice required?
Where you getting 12/20 or 1/20 or 2/20? I’m thinking they’ll clear the books by 12/31.
While you are a lame duck employee, do you still have to put in for vacation days if you are going out of town?
@a4 full-time employee. I get things :-)
What’s FTE?
How long on the package payout?
@OP You'll be FTE until your last day and then your package will kick in once its processed
