Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

The goal of A.I.

Management is trying to make the vast majority of their workforce obsolete, because they realize that those workers are coming to grips with how obsolete, and malicious, these "leaders" are.

It's a showdown on a massive social scale as haves and have nots push each other to the point of watching the resourcefulness and the competence of the individual to rise above both ownership and technology, in order to focus on one single thing - GETTING SH*T DONE.

PS. I want my Fu**ing bank back. I am not your slave. I am not your knight. I will not fight for those who seek to destroy me, or defend those who blindly comply.

ERICA is a joke when calling the support line. There is no more support, you are on your own now.

I don't think BofA Management can even spell A.I.

Me calling 800 Support: Must reply to voice recognition system with my issue. "I need help with this system update that failed."
Support: "Did you know you can use ERICA? Take these steps before we connect you with a live agent." and then disconnects.
Typing into ERICA: "I need help with this system update."
ERICA takes me through many steps then refers me to a live rep after 30 minutes of wasted time. System says due to long hold time, I should use ERICA, and disconnects.

This is what we get from our AI that strives to be "good enough" instead of being the best.... just like everything else we do.

AI is just another fad all big companies are falling for, hook, line and sinker. It gives the incompetent and uncreative management team a fake initiative to manage and shove down everyone's throats with no real goals or expected benefits. It will just waste money by investing in expensive software that adds no value and will ultimately get the bank in big legal trouble down the road as well as chase talented employees out the door.

@OP+1k9yymg68 - you give this sh!t show of a management team FAR too much credit.

You think those doofus Fleet Mafia with Charlotte serf imbeciles truly understand the power and potential of AI?!?

(yea, pass me another toke, Bro')

They are stup!d AF, Fake til you Make It Mo'Fos.

D-mber, simpler and cheaper to make our lives miserable and push valuable institutional knowledge (that they will NEVER fathom) out the door.

Sorry, have to leave this board now to promote the next a$$-licking fave to cover my azz for all the misteps so I can get promoted and paid more.

Sorry for the rest of you losers. You gotta play along to win around here.

Pucker up, buttercup!

As a B5(now not a manager of people). I've never been so micromanaged as I am now(nor did I ever micromanage) and I know it's due to AI. It's all to PM people out and lean the balance sheet for the shareholders and no thought of human impact.

I hate AI. They pushed copilot on us and I have yet to use it. If I can't draft an email at my big age maybe I shouldn't be working a job that involves emailing people. don't even get me started on people using AI for sh-t like making grocery lists or photos of them hugging a celebrity.

AI is not our friend
