That no 5's are allowed this year and no raises for 30+???

@nb Can agree to this statement. I’m leaving UHC in less than 2 weeks for a pay increase with another company. The raises I’ve gotten here were less than a dollar.
@hs Leave the company the pay will jump then.
Raises are capped at 1.5% and no raises for 30+ but their bonuses are better funded
25 and lucky if we get a 25 cent bonus for the last 7+ yeas 😆 even at a 5
@cd you mean you aren't on a $60M pay package like Hemsley?
The no 5s is not true. Maybe some departments but not across the board. As far as the gl 30s no raise, I haven't heard anything. But they may be trying to push people out so it wouldn't surprise me.
It's definitely a tough situation to think about, right? It can be really discouraging to see such a big gap when some people at the top are getting huge bonuses while so many others are facing challenges. It really highlights the differences in our society.
@OP Are you kidding me?
If you are a 30+ I really doubt you are posting on this site AND if you are not a 30+ why do you care?
I mean as a 4 we have only been getting 1 to 1.5% raises on the Optum side for years (as a 27)
i haven't heard this explicitly, but of recent years under witty, there was a push to avoid any 5s. Like you can't have a team of 5s, even if they are rockstars. Grading is done on a curve because some ja----s in a vest has an MBA and needs a 3rd vacation home.
I'm a 25, work my ar-e off every year and have not seen a 5 in years because of the obvious boys club and favoritism going on. Plus they took away RRP and I highly doubt my peers and I will see any sort of pay increase as well.
This is nothing new, my higher ups are basically told the same thing every year: don't give out 5s and supervisors and above will not get raises.
Yet, the majority of us stay. Freshen up your resume and move on if you can.
It’s truly hard to wrap your head around, isn’t it? It’s disheartening to see the stark contrast when those at the top are receiving huge bonuses while many others struggle. It just emphasizes the disparities in our society.
