2025 Performance & bonus

Any indication on what bonuses will be in spring of 2026? I need for SOMETHING to look forward to

@1eg does anyone have any real information. Lots of opinions but nothing very helpful. Seems like they have been more positive on the Town Halls this year. I assume we should start hearing something by year end.

Yeah youre not getting one. Leadership needs to add another floor to their penthouse suite.

@15e
Sounds about right. Last year the average was around 35%, and I would not be surprised if it lands in a similar range this year. I am optimistic that it will not be a zero bonus. I really don’t think they would go that route. Considering the amount of revenue and profit we generate, giving out a zero bonus would be downright outrageous.
At the end of the day, the organization brings in significant earnings, and not sharing any of that with employees would be indefensible.

@17k Dude, what is an "AIP?"

I think this is someone from Humana lurking on our site. Get outta here, Humana Dude!

@17k Regardless of quitting, with it being that late in the year, you were still due that bonus, as you helped the company that year meet it's goals. So, you did nothing wrong by accepting it. An employment lawyer would tell you the same thing. Just make sure the company sends you a W2 for that.

@13g: I quit in December last year after the big RIF. Pretty much knew my area was likely next. I was surprised when I got an AIP direct deposit the next spring. Didn’t question it, just took the money and ran.

@OP Management is looking to cut costs and another wave of RIF and layoffs are on the horizon.

@OP Based on this article dated 9-24-25, it doesn't look like bonus will be as much as last year even. Hellavance has to pay for all of the legal fees and what better way than to Riff and Stiff (bonus)!!!!

"A federal judge has granted preliminary approval to Elevance Health’s $12.9 million settlement resolving a class action lawsuit that accused the insurer of improperly denying coverage for residential treatment of mental health and substance use disorders.

The lawsuit was originally filed in April 2020 and alleged that the company (then Anthem) used overly restrictive medical necessity guidelines as a third-party administrator when evaluating requests for residential treatment for children. The class was certified in March 2024.

In June, Anthem placed $12.9 million into a common fund as part of the settlement, with nearly 19,000 class members eligible for reimbursement. All class members will receive at least $100, while lead plaintiffs will receive $10,000 each as incentive awards. Anthem also agreed to cover plaintiffs’ legal fees, capped at $4.3 million

The settlement resolves claims under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act and the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act, and Anthem did not admit to any wrongdoing. A final fairness hearing is scheduled for Jan. 26."

Insider projection is 25-40% tops across different orgs. CarelonRx may be the one at the higher end of this scale.

If you get laid off or if you choose to voluntarily quit on 1/1 or after, do you still get your bonus in March or April when it’s paid out? Or will you be ineligible as you are no longer there?

When will we know whether there is a bonus? January, February, or March?

Greed has ruined this company and this world. People are only out for themselves and don’t give a cr-p about others. It’s a sad world we live in but it’s reality. We all live paycheck to paycheck while the C suite and GB make millions. They have steak and caviar while us the workers eat bologna and cheese. It’s reality in our lives and it’s sad.

@ek But McVesty said that No One could have seen it coming…Even though actuaries who posted on this site said they told him. Of course, he’ll still get a big bonus and be able to buy 2 watches like his buddies!!

I know the Stars ratings dramatically improved from last year. The revenue we get won’t hit until a couple of years from now but I imagine that would still factor in

Hey OP - maybe you’ll get one of those new fake promotions they’re handing out these days!

I'm hopeful will be better than last years payout, but still expecting only a peanut or two. CFO has been mentioning AIP in each town hall, and sounding more optimistic about the payout (stressing the payout is not dependent on stock price, etc). I've also heard positive things about Elevance Q4 performance.

We’re still making up for the 40 million dollar man’s mistake from last year, so don’t hang your hat on AIP amount.

@a5 Honestly, the managers here don’t seem to know much more than we do. I’ve lost count of how many times one’s logged in just to find out their team was hit. If I had a buck for each of those, I’d be treating friends to sushi.

If you need something to look forward to, don't hang your hat on March's bonus/AIP being it. You need to look within your personal life for something to look forward to. This company is never going to fulfill that need going forward.

the only thing you have to look forward to is a job - if you still have one - anything else is not in the cards - seriously the writing has been painted on the wall for months
