There’s a corporate direction (at least under Jamie) to hire only in India. Any exceptions need to be approved by some board.

Fewer than 5,600 employees residing in the US. I think that makes it around 8%.

Oh you mean the Focus Board led by a team that is so lost in spreadsheets they have no idea what they're doing to the company. Justify why you need someone to perform work. What, you already replaced every U.S. person with someone from India? Your last support person quit the company? " Surely you're not asking to have that person replaced? What? Your account doesn't make money? How could you let that happen? RPL Rejected!!!" I guess we deliver with nobody and since I'm the last one left, replacing me with someone from India is the only option. I'm sure the in-person QBR will go just wonderfully when you do it from India. Good call.
Get rid of the RPL process and let us do our job. Let us make the client happy and want to do business with us. No wait, the Focus Board team needs a raise and a pat on the back for firing so many people. Look at the money they saved. Great job team.
