For many years getting paged out to P1/P2 even P3 warrooms outside of work hours in the evenings, overnights, at movies, at dinner, getting groceries, at the gym, anywhere you go your phone would constantly go off. Not to mention the contanst group chats for work to respond to. All for no extra pay, layed off 1 year ago and no make way more money, work only 40 hours a week M-F. Get out while you can, they don't care about customers, definitely not employees, only the bottom line and the good ol boys at the top. Find a private company to work for.

@OP This is spot on. I'm the one that answers to 10 other useless people in a war room while I'm trying to solve a problem. War rooms didn't exist before we were acquired and we somehow survived. I've never seen so many people trying to justify their existence.
@er yep. Unsure why are downvoted. Every “war room” I have been in amounts to thousands of dollars in salary per hour ticking by while a bunch of high level SLT/ELT ask a lowly plebe making $40k-65k to fix the problem fast.
Calling it a war room says it all. Self important personas thinking that delivery of di-k pills and Wegovy is akin to a military campaign.
Sounds like the ones in a war room doing nothing or contributing nothing would be easy to RIF.
Seems you do miss it if your still visiting this site and posting. Once they took my company phones is the day they took the ability to contact me off hours. The lines of Personal and business have seemed to get blurred in favor of business.. you poor kids of today
A war room is what they call a getting together of a group of employees to solve what is considered a major situation that will or is impacting the company functioning processes. Like when a system goes down and all the employees are sitting around twiddling their thumbs and actually not perform cause something is not working. They assemble a war room .
Whats a war room?
Completely different sectors, anything other than healthcare is better. Wasted 15 years of my life being on call at Optum
Any hint where things look way better than this hellhole.
