@OP This is exactly spot on. What gets me is companies have been using this exact playbook for decades. They still roll it out in this fashion. Does anyone really fall for this stuff? I just wonder if Penny really feels like a good person while she is doing this. I would wager my entire net worth that DC honestly thinks he is a great person while doing this. I have met the man many times. He is literally tone deaf and oblivious to how off putting he is.
