Verizon The real problem is management

Does Dan realize that the real problem in verizon is the over paid huge management hierarchy.I mean come on the amount of money and red tape spent on Managers is unbelievable.Every manager has a higher paid manager above them that does even less.That worked in the ma bell monopoly of endless cash not now!!!The only real value in verizon anymore is the only people that actually know or do anything.That group is the associates union and nonunion on wireless & wireline side.All jokes aside most managers are really clueless.Some where hired from pizza delivery places because their daddy was a executive somewhere in verizon.How about we get rid of the timesheet signers who only job is to bother associates over meaningless things instead of focusing on the customer.The people who matter need to start being cherished more and listened to more .Time to squash the Management pyramid of Verizon and focus on moving forward

@OP Verizon is dumping everything on AI.
Customer service is the worse in history.
Try calling Verizon is impossible. Surfing the menu is horrible. Good luck in getting a live agent. Maybe after you lose voice screaming at the phone….

@a9 they will never sell off wireline .They like control over the inter office carrier along with the main fiber backbone for their towers .The fact is the union segment is not costing all that much !!!Remember most newer associates don’t have pensions or medical retirement obligations .The older contract ones left are few .The company knows this .If they wanted to rush the process a bit for the stragglers they know they can offer a package .The real cost cutting is going to come from the over abundance of management in wireline not needed due to this small associate head count.You know there are entire management chains in some groups just to over see 5 associates.Thats like 6 huge management salaries paid for the work of only 1 needed so get your facts

The real issue is that vzw lost its American way. Sold out American consumers and workers for Indians who don’t know American kulture

Verizon is doomed until it comes to that realization

Ya in the lower echelon’s of the Verizon machine We hear this is exactly what is coming soon .Leaner less incompetent Lead management.The fact his focus during his interview in on how much they spent wasted on investment in management leadership for so little return definitely points to multiple layoff events in the hierarchy of management.I believe once they realize the show will go on without 2nd 3rd 4rd line ect management their gonna keep going.I think on the wireline side this also gives a little hint that there probably is no strike coming since the focus will be on shrinking management while becoming more customer oriented.A strike as of right now just don’t play into the plan at the current time.You know what they say bigger fish to fry
