That RIF in Finance were mostly managers and supervisors. Many teams were then combined. If there a RIF next week, hopefully it’s L6’s and above. However, for those training in TI, I’d be nervous.
Was around for this (survived miraculously) but it was still not a fun time seeing coworkers let go. Fingers crossed the org can get back to being more positive again.
@OP it was actually March that year, not October.
@OP Thanks for sharing. We remember that day well. The big difference here is that (according to the article) the job market was strong back then. Sadly, it’s the worst job market ever right now. Good look everyone!
