Every chance the company gets they will stop raises. They quickly adjust to down market but are slow to adjust upward to hot market. Now days all the upside goes to the executives and no upside for the common working man.

@OP I’ve never gotten a raise higher than 3% even when exceeding expectations.

When I take a job, I just assume that the starting salary is what I’ll be paid for the duration of my time there. I jump every 2-3 years and usually net a 15-20% pay increase each time. I’m clearing $200k/year now, but getting here wasn’t easy, neither is staying here.

Once you have zero increment, it is EM l’s subtle hint you are not valued. And it is time to move on or silent quit.

Is it okay to silent quit. Find another job, each jump is easily 10-30%.. Use the time to get your property agent certification, get your taxi license, start a side hustle…. No one owes you a living.

Just keep your mouth shut, and plan your exit. Our colleagues only want to see you and your family fail, as it is a good story to share.

I've had a few but I'm also under 40 so I'm certain that's playing an impact here and I'm not nieve to the fact that once I break that threshold I'll be in the land of minimal raises
