Combine VBG VCG

Heard that’s the path forward, and it makes sense. Combine operations, leadership. Cut many many many many heads. Sure, it will rough for a while, but it’s all about the immediate savings. No one cares about 3 years from now, only the next qtr and the current gap to solve for. Painful decisions are what random new CEOs are all about.

Also, no more value! Redundant operations. It’s all consumer and business, all customer. We don’t need 10 different marketing teams, just one.

While there are redundancies, the customer segments are significant different. The concept for effort was to create VGS for common corporate services. I think the better option would be to see where each BU has duplicated these functions to maintain and exert control.

Anyone proposing Sampath remains in the picture needs to wake up.

All CEOs need to go. Flatten the structure and go down to max50-60k folks.

That is ALL that is needed. Fire CIO who couldn’t find his own replacement.

@OP Absurd. If anything, the Company should have a Consumer business, a business group that includes SMBs and Enterprise, and a Public Sector group. The PS business is significantly different and the idea that a consumer marketing team handling PS marketing is absurd.

@a7 wait we could lay off the micromanaging vcg managers. Then we can still combine with vbg. So much micromanagement here in vcg. Please.

What’s the point of three Ceo’s that can’t drive growth? Consolidate and save millions
