@OP I also heard from a friend of my daughter’s boyfriend’s 3rd cousin that they will announce in the Q1 call that the RTP site will be closing as well.
Cisco is the Titanic, heading for an iceberg. Chuck is at the helm, and in the cockpit sits a group of inexperienced sycophants and opportunists, constantly applauding Chuck, like the emperor's new clothes, with everyone praising how beautiful the emperor looks.
There's no turning back. Replace everyone above the director level? Is that realistic? It's the result of reverse elimination. Look at what these directors are saying in meetings now; they're just talking nonsense, completely worthless.

There's a theory that if you put a monkey at a keyboard then, by chance and given enough time, it could randomly by thrashing away and ba----g at the keyboard type out the US constitution. It may take a trillion times longer that the universe has been in existence but it is theoretically possible.
That same theory applies to G2 and Cisco's chances of leadership in AI.
Can anyone actually name one of G2’s accomplishments? What is his crowning achievement at Cisco?
CR should have left long ago but it seems he wanted to stick around for the stock market to raise his leaky boat along with all the others so he could claim some legacy.
CR you have no legacy, CSCO is only at $70 because of the AI bubble, of which you have played no part.
G2 will be just as bad but will put the relocation to Bangalore in overdrive.

I hope this happens and Peetu Patel christens the announcement by leaving a steamy pile of sweet goodness on the earnings call and the subsequent internal calls.. I’ve heard at some of the executive parties he slips out for a minute or two then comes back and in the middle of the gathering slaps both cheeks then spreads the dam things as wide as possible and leaves a gigantic steamy aromatic dump for all to see and take in.
